Mindfulness & Meditation Overview

Poppy Life Care embraces and promotes a holistic approach to healthcare, because we believe that there is a natural “fit” among the programs and services we offer, which — when combined — cover the entire spectrum of wellness, from the physical, the emotional, the mental, to the spiritual.

Over the last decade, people have become more open to the idea of combining Eastern medicine therapies with traditional Western therapies. The fundamental difference between the two is that the Eastern philosophies support treatments that combine to improve an individual’s overall health; the Western approach traditionally targets a single ailment, and its elimination doesn’t necessarily benefit an individual’s overall health.

The health benefits of mindfulness and meditation taken from Eastern philosophies have been proven in areas ranging from pain management to depression treatment.
Poppy Life Care is excited to offer programs and services in both of these areas!
